Rhythms Academy of Dance Schedule 2023-2024 Dance and Voice Season

*Voice Lessons: Available 1/2 hour timeslots for voice lessons are from 3:30-9:00 PM on Friday evenings.

*Starting Age:  PreBallet and PreTap are for dancers ages 4-6; Tap and Ballet starting age is 5 years old; Modern and Jazz is 7 years old; Ballet Intensives and Jazz Intensives is 7 years old.  Musical Theatre Intensive: ages 8 and up. Hip Hop Intensive: ages 9 and up. Voice Lessons: ages 8 and up.  Pointe is by invitation only.

*Please Note: Minor scheduling changes may occur after registration depending on class enrollment.

***Modern III/IV:  Students registering for Modern III and above must also enroll in a Ballet Intensive.

*Leveling: Each dance class and dance intensive is leveled and dancers will be placed into levels according to ability not necessarily by age or number of years of prior training. 

**FOOTWORK:   By audition; Competitive Dance Team; Begins in October 2023; Auditions for class/to be a part of this Competitive Group will be held in September.   For tappers in levels Tap IV and above.

**Jr. FOOTWORK:  By audition;  Jr. Competitive Dance Team; Begins in October 2023; Auditions for class/to be a part of this Competitive Group will be held in September.   For tappers in levels Tap II and above.

Sunday Monthly Dance Intensive Dates: September 17, October 15, November 5, December 17, January 14, February 4, March 3, April 7 and May 5

*In the event of inclement weather, please check the studio's facebook page or voicemail message for cancellations. Phone calls to each student will not be made. The studio’s voicemail message will state any weather cancellations after 2 PM. Note: The studio does not follow all school closings.
